Here are some ideas what to do, if you do not want to stay in bed or go for a walk.
Hald Sø, Dollerup Bakker, Hald Manorhouse or Hald Ruin are opportunities to explore the surrounding area (approx. 1-4 km away).
Søndersø and Nørresø in Viborg - 13 km away, are two or one circular route(s) around the lake, depending on whether you want to walk around both lakes or just one. The circular route around a lake is almost 5 km long.
Hvide Sande or Søndervig are also highly recommended. Certainly with more people, but the nature (Ringkøbing Fjord and North Sea) is very beautiful there (approx. 84 km).
Skjern Å Enge - a great walk in quiet and beautiful nature with ferry boats and viewing platforms (approx. 70 km away).
Ulbjerg Klint og Marens Patter is a hiking route up to 13.7 km around the Limfjord. A rough but beautiful nature with not so many people (about 30 km away).
Ørnereden Naturcenter, which can be combined with a stroll through the city of Aarhus (approx. 58 km away).
We also have many puzzles, card games, Klask, Curl4You, Air Hockey and much more. Talk to us.
You can grill, make a fire at our fireplace or lie lazily on the sun lounger or in the hammock (0 km away).
Viborg...
...is the next big city in the surrounding area and the perfect destination for a little daytrip. Viborg is one of the oldest cities in Denmark with an exciting history, beatiful streets and many shops (approx. 7 km away).
Mønsted Kalkgruber - The largest lime pit in the world
Go deep on an adventure through lighted passages, subterranean lakes and trickling streams. You can learn a lot about bats. Closed from November to spring, because bats hivernate there. Don´t forget the flashlight.
We loved it (about 26 km away).
